With the file copier, Stereomerger can automatically copy files from your camera or card reader.

The standard copy dialog

The standard copy dialog where you select the source and destination directories, and you decides which filestype to copy among other things.

Source directory

This is where you choose the root directory for the files to be copied

Destination directory

This is where you choose the root destination directory

Sub directory level 1 - Date and/or title directory

With this option on, Stereomerger can automatically create subdirectories with date and or title. You can choose to use either be the current date, date of the oldest file, date of the latest file or no date.

Sub directory level 2 - Stereo image separation

With this option on, Stereomerger will create a left or right subdirectory.

Options

Under options, you have three choices.

Keep directory structure

With the option selected, Stereomerger will also copy the directory structure. Otherwise all files will be copied to the same folder.

Overwrite duplicate filenames

With this options selected, files will overwrite existing files. Otherwise the new file will be appended with a number. E.g. image.jpg will be named image_2.jpg

Copy only these types

Here you can specify which file types to copy. The list must be comma-separated.
