From Stereomerger

When you receive the license file by e-mail, save the file on you hard-drive. It can be smart to back-up the file somewhere too.

Then start Stereomerger. Accept the end use license agreemet (EULA) if you haven't done so before.

You will now be presented with this message box:

Now you can either:

1. Drag and drop the license file to this dialog
2. Type in the path to the license file directly
3. Or press the folder-button to open up the finder/file-selector.

If you opened up the finder/file-selector, locate the license file you saved and select Open.

Back in the License message box, press the Ok-button and your copy of Stereomerger is now licensed.
